Yes, our packages are fully customisable. The packages are merely suggestions to make it easier for you, where we include some of our specialties. Feel free to let us know what you would like to add in, take out, or have more/less of. Depending on your changes, we always try our best to maintain the prices.
2. What do I need to prepare?
We prepare everything that’s needed for a good BBQ – from the plates and cutleries, to the drinks and sauces. Only thing you may want to prepare are tables and chairs for your guests and maybe a canopy, but we can help arrange these too if you prefer.
3. Can I use my own food?
We understand that you may have certain family recipes that you’d like to include in our grill, which we are very much willing to accommodate. However we do ask that your additions be pork free, as we strictly do not serve pork.
4. Why does your package cost more than normal catering?
We serve premium cuts of meat and ingredients, sourced as fresh as possible. While some have mentioned that our prices are twice as much, but we serve an estimate of 80:20 (meat:others) compared to 20:80 (meat:others) for normal catering. We also do not use preservatives, artificial flavouring or processed ingredients.
5. Is Go-Grill-Lah similar to a “Lok Lok” van?
The idea is similar, but ours is designed to have BBQs. Differences include:
6. How long am I given to use your mobile BBQ cart?
Generally, our mobile BBQ cart can be utilised until all the cooking is done, which usually takes about 5-6 hours (depending also on your number of pax).
7. Is Go-Grill-Lah halal?
We are not halal certified, but all our meats and ingredients are sourced from halal suppliers. We maintain and strictly observe a 'no pork' policy.
8. Can I have less than 10 pax?
Yes, a special package for less than 10 pax can be arranged. As mentioned in FAQ no. 1, our packages are fully customisable. Please understand though that the price for such a package will be higher, as compared to our published packages. Events with less than 10 pax are perfect for a private dining kind of intimate gathering of family/friends.
9. Can I have more than 30 pax?
Our published packages are up to 30 pax because that is the optimum capacity that our BBQ pit can cope with. Having said that, we have had events for more than 30 pax, with certain items pre-cooked before your event. Please contact us so we can discuss how best we can tailor make something that would meet your needs.
10. How do I know if your mobile BBQ cart will fit into my house?
As a guide, our mobile BBQ cart will fit into anywhere a Perodua Kancil car can manoeuvre into. If you are unsure, please feel free to let us know and we can help you find out.
11. What happens if it rains during the event?
The doors to the mobile BBQ cart are able to provide cover in the event of a drizzle to light rain. It may be unsafe to continue BBQing during a heavy rain. Also, it would be best to prepare a canopy for your guests should it rain during your event.
